Alessio Sakara and Paulo Thiago Suspended Following UFC on Fuel TV 2

All 24 UFC on Fuel TV 2 Fighters Drug Tested

Following last Saturday’s UFC on Fuel TV 2: Gustafsson vs. Silva in Stockholm, only two fighters made the list of medical suspensions.

Alessio Sakara and Paulo Thiago, the only two fighters on the card to go down by way of knockout, were the two that made the UFC on Fuel TV 2 medical suspensions list. Each received a four-week suspension.

George Sallfeldt, president of the Swedish MMA Federation that oversaw the event, informed MMAWeekly.com content partner FightBulletin.net of the suspensions.

Siyar Bahadurzada caught Paulo Thiago rushing in, sending him crashing to the mat.

Sakara, however, got rocked by several Brian Stann knees from the Thai clinch. He hit the mat and then went lights out when Stann leveled him with left hands while ground and pounding from Sakara’s guard.
