Al-Hilal Dream Of Signing Inter Milan & Italy Superstar – Mega Money Wage Offer Revealed
Al-Hilal are dreaming of signing Inter Milan midfielder Nicolo Barella.
This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews. They report that the Saudi club would offer €18 million net per season in wages, but the Italian international has flatly declined.
Barella has certainly attracted plenty of transfer interest across his time at Inter.
In the summer of 2023, Arsenal, Newcastle United, and Manchester United showed interest in bringing Barella to the Premier League.
Manchester City and Liverpool are also long-term admirers.
But last summer, Barella committed his future to Inter by signing a new five-year contract with the club.

That contract extension certainly made Barella’s situation at Inter clear. However, it has not stopped the transfer interest in the former Cagliari midfielder.
Apart from big European clubs, there is also the possibility of a move to the Saudi Pro League.
The Gazzetta report that Al-Hilal have made Barella their dream target to bolster their squad ahead of the Club World Cup next summer.
Al-Hilal are currently the club where former Lazio midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic and ex-Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly ply their trade.
Former Premier League players Ruben Neves and Aleksandr Mitrovic are also Al-Hilal players.
Therefore, the Saudi club have certainly managed to attract some big names from Europe.
Barella would be the biggest of the lot, however.
Al-Hilal sounded out the possibility of a move for the 27-year-old while Inter were in Saudi Arabia for the Supercoppa Italiana, according to the Gazzetta.
But the newspaper report that the Saudi club received a firm no.
Naturally, Al-Hilal would be willing to spend big both on a transfer fee on wages. They offered Barella wages as high as €18 million net per season, reports the Gazzetta.
But Barella made it very clear that his only consideration is to stay at Inter.
Nevertheless, the Gazzetta reports, Al-Hilal will likely try to sign Barella again in the summer transfer window.
