AHL Announces 2025 All-Star Classic Rosters

The AHL has officially announced the rosters for the 2025 All-Star Classic.

Each of the four AHL divisions are represented by 12 players with rosters being selected by all 32 AHL coaches. Each team is represented by at least one player.

The 2025 AHL All-Star Classic Skills Competition takes places Feb. 2 while the Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony and round robin 3-on-3 All-Star Challenge take place Feb. 3 at Acrisure Arena.

Per the AHL, 94 percent of AHL All-Star participants since 1995 have played in the NHL. 20 of the players named to the 2025 event have played in the NHL this season.

Alex Belzile, Trevor Carrick, Ethen Frank, and Logan Shaw will be making their third appearances at the event. 36 players are first-time all-stars and 13 are rookies.

The Texas Stars, Cleveland Monsters, and Charlotte Checkers each have three payers attending the event, though Checkers captain Zac Dalpe will not play due to injury.

The teams are lead by the head coach of the team that leads their respective division at the end of play Dec. 31.

The coaches are: Geordie Kinnear (Charlotte Checkers), John Gruden (Toronto Marlies), Dan Watson (Grand Rapids Griffins), and Trent Cull (Calgary Wranglers).

Cull is currently serving as an interim assistant with the Calgary Flames with Joe Cirella coaching the Wranglers in the interim.
