Aerin Frankel Hired As Assistant Coach With NCAA's Stonehill College
She's one of the best goaltenders in the PWHL, and now Boston Fleet netminder Aerin Frankel will step into a coaching role as well as she was announced as a new assistant coach for the 2024-2025 season with the NCAA's Stonehill College.
"We could not be more thrilled to have Aerin join our staff," said Stonehill women's hockey head coach Lee-J Mirasolo. "Her extensive resume, including being a standout for the PWHL Boston, Northeastern University, and USA Hockey, in addition to earning the Patty Kazmaier Award, is a true testament to her athletic ability and knowledge of the game. The fact that she is still competing allows her to connect with the players on a unique level. The only thing more impressive than Aerin's bio is her character. We are so fortunate to have such a humble, thoughtful, and supportive person as part of our program."
