Adam Ounas rejects Olympiacos for Al-Sadd
According to a report by L’Équipe, Adam Ounas (27) was on the verge of moving to Olympiacos on Friday the 27th of September having arrived in Athens for his medical ahead of signing a two-year contract with the Greek club.
However, Ounas has surprisingly rejected the club after the free agent, who left Lille OSC in July at the expiry of his contract, received a last-minute offer from Qatari club Al Sadd SC. Ounas is expected to soon arrive in Qatar where he will complete a move to a team that features a number of former Ligue 1 players.
Ounas will be with Mohamed Camara (24, who left AS Monaco in the summer), Youcef Atal (28, formerly of OGC Nice), and Romain Saïss (34, formerly of Angers SCO, Le Havre AC, and Clermont Foot).
Ounas made 44 appearances for Lille scoring twice and assisting three after making the move to the northern club from Napoli in 2022.
