According to a report from SPORT, AC Milan are once again eyeing a Real Madrid talent, this time focusing on the promising young star Arda Guler.

Interestingly, the Italian team’s interest is reminiscent of their successful acquisition of Brahim Diaz.

Guler, a player coveted by many top European clubs, ended his season with Real Madrid in spectacular fashion, scoring six goals in limited appearances.

His performance at the European Championship with Turkey has only heightened interest in him, with several clubs approaching Real Madrid for a loan deal. However, Guler is determined to stay and prove himself at Real Madrid.

Real Madrid might consider AC Milan’s proposal

According to the outlet, AC Milan have presented a compelling proposal to Real Madrid, aiming to replicate the ‘Brahim Diaz operation.’

It must be noted that Brahim spent three fruitful seasons with Milan, gaining valuable experience and becoming a key player for the team.

The loan agreement included a purchase option for Milan at €22 million, with Real Madrid having the option to buy him back for €27 million the following season.

Ultimately, Real Madrid decided to end the loan, recognising Diaz’s improved performance and reintegrating him into their squad despite fierce competition.

For Real Madrid, it is said that they are intrigued by this opportunity and are of the idea that Guler might grow faster in a competitive environment just like Brahim did.

It’s time for Guler now

Right now, Milan are willing to take on Guler’s salary and are keen on including a purchase option, similar to the arrangement with Brahim.

However, Real Madrid are hesitant to let go of Guler, viewing him as a key player for their future. At just 18 years old, Guler has already showcased his talent at the European Championship, emerging as Turkey’s standout player.

It must be remembered that Guler’s contract with Real Madrid runs until 2029, and when he signed, one of his conditions was to join the team immediately.

Real Madrid had offered him an additional year at Fenerbahce, but Guler declined, opting instead to jump straight into the challenges at Real Madrid.

Despite numerous loan offers, Guler remains committed to staying at the club, believing he needs to earn his minutes even though he currently starts as a substitute under Ancelotti.
