Rodgers' professional football career began with the Green Bay Packers in 2005. In August of that year, he signed his first of several contracts with the team: a $7.7 million five-year contract with a $1.5 million signing bonus and $5.4 million guaranteed.

In 2008, he signed a six-year contract for $63.52 million ($20 million guaranteed), followed by a five-year contract for $110 million ($54 million guaranteed) in April 2013, and a four-year deal for $134 million ($79.2 million guaranteed) in August 2018. His final contract with the Packers came in 2022 when he signed a three-year deal for $150.8 million ($101.5 million guaranteed). He also accumulated over $100 million worth of signing bonuses throughout his tenure with the Packers.

After 18 years in Green Bay, Rodgers was traded to the New York Jets in the spring of 2023. That summer, he agreed to a two-year $75 million guaranteed contract with the team — $35 million less than he would've made if he finished his four-year deal with the Packers, which reportedly had $110 million remaining in the contract. Despite the pay decrease, Forbes reported that the deal would bring the football player's on-field earnings to $418 million throughout his career.

Off the field, Forbes estimated that he brings in roughly $9 million annually through brand deals and business ventures.

According to the outlet, two of Rodgers' most lucrative brand deals are with ZenWtr and Amberjack dress shoes. Per GQ, he also signed on as a brand ambassador for Zenith in 2021 and designed a $12,800 Swiss watch.

"I've always loved watches, but I've never fallen in love with a brand until I went out and went to the headquarters and just met the people who make the whole thing go," Rodgers told GQ in October 2023 of his collaboration with Zenith.

Rodgers has also partnered with Adidas since as early as 2015 when he signed a multi-year deal.

The football player's additional previous partnerships also include State Farm Insurance, IZOD and Taylor Made Golf.

Per Forbes, Rodgers launched a $50 million venture and growth stage fund with Roth Capital in 2019, Rx3 Ventures, which he remains a general partner of along with Nate Raabe and Byron Roth. The quarterback has also been a minority owner of the NBA's Milwaukee Bucks since 2018.

While at the American Century Championship in November 2016, Rodgers talked about the impact of fame and wealth, saying that "money does some interesting things to people in your life."

He added, "especially when you go from not much to 'Boom!' You have a signing bonus and are able to buy some different things and are in a different tax bracket than most people your age."

Rodgers has also seen significant changes to his earnings over the years, but none that have worried him. In August 2023, sports commentator Kay Adams asked Rodgers about the $35 million pay cut he took when he signed with the Jets, to which he reassured her that he was still "loving" what he was earning.

"I'm getting paid a lot of money, I feel great about it," he said. "I'm not missing that money at all."
