The Best Ball format in certain fantasy football leagues has allowed managers to draft a team and not touch it the rest of the year.
That makes for a very different draft experience because -- as you may know -- the rules of Best Ball involve no bench, no waiver wire and each week, the top-scoring players from your team make up your final score.
That's it! Set it and forget it.
So with that mind, you're looking for explosivity and high ceilings in your drafts (last year, it was De'Von Achane who probably won a few leagues). Let's go over some of those names you should target:
1. WR Brian Thomas Jr., Jacksonville Jaguars

He's a sleeper in regular leagues, but in Best Ball? He's got all sorts of room to be explosive as a deep threat for Trevor Lawrence.
2. WR Xavier Worthy, Kansas City Chiefs

Another deep-threat rookie who could have some seriously huge weeks. The week-to-week consistency doesn't matter as much.
3. RB Blake Corum, Los Angeles Rams

The buzz over how much of a role he'll play alongside Kyren Williams is too large, and given Williams' injury history, it's a good idea to invest in Corum.
4. RB Tank Bigsby, Jacksonville Jaguars

I kind of wonder if he'll have a bigger role even with Travis Etienne Jr. there. A big sleeper in Best Ball, for sure.
5. TE Taysom Hill, New Orleans Saints

It's obvious, but Hill is the poster boy for Best Ball. Some weeks? You get one catch for eight yards and three rushes for 10 yards or something. But those big weeks? They're huge.
6. RB Jaylen Wright, Miami Dolphins

He could be one of those players who wins you the latter half of the season if there's an injury at running back for the Dolphins. And you definitely want his upside in that Miami offense.
7. WR Rashid Shaheed, New Orleans Saints

I think he's going to be a solid WR2 for the Saints with a bigger ceiling than he had last year. Good idea to grab him.

Week 8's Sunday slate is in the books and there were performances and injuries that will have long term fantasy implications.
