Manchester United had a new hero on Sunday. Goalkeeper Altay Bayindir was drafted in between the posts and became the first goalkeeper to save a penalty in normal time and during a shootout in the same FA Cup game.
Blunt Spurs
4 - Tottenham are only the fourth Premier League side (from 92-93) to be taken to extra-time in an FA Cup game against a non-league club, after Leicester v Hereford in 99-00, Charlton v Dagenham and Redbridge in 00-01, and West Ham v Kidderminster in 21-22. Precarious. pic.twitter.com/joGyaAWfDX

For 90 minutes at the Lamb Ground, fifth-tier Tamworth were going toe-to-toe with Tottenham - that's the magic of the cup.
Father and son
Enrico Chiesa scored at Anfield during EURO 1996.
29 years later, his son Federico, scores at the same stadium.

It's been a tough start to life at Liverpool for Federico Chiesa but the Italy international finally scored at Anfield, 29 years after his dad did the same.
Loves the cup

Bruno Fernandes loves the FA Cup. How else to explain the Manchester United man's goal and assist numbers since joining the club in 2020.
Jack of some trades

Last year was one to forget for Jack Grealish with the Manchester City man failing to score a single goal in 12 months. Thankfully 2025 has started with a bang for the English midfielder.
