Unsurprisingly, Quinn Hughes is the highest-ranked Canucks player, coming into the season ranked ninth. The 2024 Norris Trophy winner put together a career-best 92-point season and will be looking to once again set another franchise record in 2024-25. If he can replicate his point total from last year, not only will Vancouver's captain set a new franchise record for points by a defenceman, but he will also be a Norris candidate next season.

Next at 15th is Thatcher Demko, who is the third-highest-ranked goaltender on the list. While there are questions surrounding Demko's health, there is little doubt that he is among the best goaltenders in the NHL. Looking to record his third 30+ win season in the last four years, Demko should also find himself with the third most wins in franchise history by the end of the campaign.

Moving ahead to 27th, that is where J.T. Miller can be found. After setting a new career high with 103 points, the 31-year-old will have his sights set on cracking the century mark once again while surpassing the 700-point mark for his career. If he can eclipse the 100-point mark once again, he will become just the second player in franchise history to achieve the feat, joining Pavel Bure, who hit the milestones in 1992-93 and 1993-94.

The fourth and final player on the list is Elias Pettersson, who is ranked 32nd. Now fully healthy, Pettersson is a candidate for a 100-point season, which would be his second in the last three years. With stronger linemates and a deeper squad, Pettersson could also find himself as a candidate for some year-end awards, including the Selke and Lady Byng.
