35-year-old Diego Lopez named RC Lens sporting director
RC Lens have confirmed the appointment of 35-year-old Diego Lopez as the club’s new sporting director, thus making him one of the youngest sporting directors in Ligue 1.
Lopez arrived at Lens earlier this summer, amid a significant reshuffle at Les Sang et Or, which not only saw a change in the dugout at the Stade Bollaert but also saw changes in multiple positions behind the scenes. One of those changes saw Lopez arrive in June as head of recruitment, however, less than three months since his appointment to the position, he has seen an evolution in his role at the club, Lens have confirmed.
