22-car wreck takes out host of contenders at Daytona
The Big One happened just past halfway during Saturday night’s Sprint Cup Series race at Daytona.
Jamie McMurray appeared to get loose after making contact with his teammate Kyle Larson. McMurray then got hit by Jimmie Johnson and careened into the wall.
22 cars were involved in the accident including Johnson, Dale Earnhardt Jr., Matt Kenseth, Kevin Harvick and Danica Patrick. Harvick was involved in the scariest part of the accident. Look at Brian Scott’s car (No. 44) get jacked up on top of Harvick’s car after Harvick piled into him.
Thankfully, no one was injured in the crash.
