2025 Trade Deadline: Voltigeurs Trade Seven Assets To Tigres For Star Larose, Pick
The Drummondville Voltigeurs have acquired star forward Justin Larose and a fifth round pick from the Victoriaville Tigres in exchange for center Maxime Lambert, a 2027 first round pick, two seconds (one in 2025, one in 2026), and three thirds (2025 from Charlottetown, 2026 and 2027 from Cape Breton).
Larose, 19, has 37 points (16+21) over 37 games with the Tigres as their alternate captain.
The former 38th overall pick in 2021 has since played in 231 games, scoring 156 points (71+85).
Despite his stellar play, this is actually a down year production-wise as he's picked up 80 points last season, including 38 goals. The expectation is that his play will pick up as he joins a much more stacked team.
Undrafted to the NHL, Larose is certainly the type of player that would be of interest to NCAA programs as he's currently uncommitted.
As for Victoriaville, they pick up centerman Maxime Lambert.
Lambert, 18, had five points (3+2) across 28 games with the Volts this season.
He's a former ninth round pick in 2022.
