The Baie-Comeau Drakkar add forward Evan Courtois from the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies in exchange for forward Thomas Chafe and a 2025 fourth round pick.

Courtois, 19, had 20 points (10+10) across 36 games with the Huskies this season. Courtois is a former fourth round pick by the Shawinigan Cataractes in the 2021 QMJHL draft.
Meanwhile, Chafe, 19, had eight points (3+5) across 35 games with the Drakkar. Chafe joined the QMJHL as a free agent via the Gatineau Olympiques.
Neither player has any NCAA nor NHL affiliation.
