2025 The Sentry Thursday tee times, PGA Tour pairings and how to watch
The 2025 season is here.
The holiday season has come and gone, the calendar has flipped and it's time for a new year in the golfing world, and it starts Thursday at the PGA Tour's The Sentry. The season-opening event will be held again at Kapalua's Plantation Course in Hawaii, where Chris Kirk is the defending champion.
There are 60 golfers in the field at The Sentry, though a couple notables aren't, like Scottie Scheffler and Rory McIlroy. Viktor Hovland is dealing with a broken pinky toe and also may not be able to tee it up come Thursday.
There's a $20 million purse on the line with $3.6 million going to the winner, along with 700 FedEx Cup points.
