2024 WNBA playoffs bracket: Semifinals matchups, schedule and results

The WNBA semifinals are in full swing, and the two-time defending champion Las Vegas Aces shut down elimination against the New York Liberty to force a Game 4, while the Minnesota Lynx leads the series against the Connecticut Sun are 2-1.

The top-seeded Liberty won Game 1, 87-77, and then won Game 2, 88-84, to take a 2-0 lead in the best-of-five series. Sabrina Ionescu has been the standout player in the first two games of the series and is leading the offensive charge in the postseason with averages of 20.4 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 5.8 assists. The Aces were not ready for their season to end, taking Game 3 with a 95-81 win to cut the series lead 2-1 and force a Game 4.

In the other half of the bracket, the Connecticut Sun narrowly defeated the Minnesota Lynx with a thrilling 73-70 victory in Game 1, thanks to the impressive performance of Marina Mabrey, who scored 20 points. However, the Lynx made a comeback and secured a 77-70 win in Game 2 at Target Center, and followed it up with a 90-81 Game 3 victory taking the series lead 2-1.
