Yahoo Sports 2024 NFL Draft: What latest odds say about top wide receivers
It's a good year for an NFL team to need a wide receiver. The wide receiver prospects in the 2024 NFL Draft class make up one of the most talented position groups in the entire class.
The three top wide receivers in the class – Ohio State's Marvin Harrison Jr., LSU's Malik Nabers and Washington's Rome Odunze – have the sky-high potential to become bona fide No. 1 wide receivers as early as their rookie seasons in the NFL.
In a league that has become more pass-happy in recent years, having a super talented wide receiver leading the air offense can make all the difference.
Here's where those top three receivers are projected to land in the first round of the 2024 NFL Draft, according to the latest betting odds from BetMGM as of Thursday afternoon.

2024 NFL Draft odds: Marvin Harrison Jr. landing spots
Here are the top three odds for Harrison's draft position, as well as the team currently occupying that draft spot.
No. 4 overall, Arizona Cardinals (-275)
The Cardinals don't need to draft a quarterback with their top-five pick – they're committed to Kyler Murray. However, they desperately need help at receiver after Marquise Brown and Rondale Moore both walked in free agency.
No. 5 overall, Los Angeles Chargers (+500)
Like the Cardinals, the Chargers will have to replenish their receiving corps in a big way. Los Angeles traded top receiver Keenan Allen to the Bears and released No. 2 wideout Mike Williams to clear cap space. Williams then signed with the New York Jets.
No. 6 overall, New York Giants (+1200)
New York is a top spot for all three of the top receivers in this year's draft class, and with good reason. The Giants haven't had a receiver top 800 yards – let alone 1,000 – in a season since Odell Beckham Jr. in 2018. With uncertainty at the quarterback position, New York could at least bring clarity to the offense with an upgrade in its receiving corps.
2024 NFL Draft odds: Malik Nabers landing spots
These are the top three most likely picks for Nabers to come off the board according to draft odds.
No. 6 overall, New York Giants (+160)
The Giants show up again as a team in dire need of talent at the wide receiver position. Given they pick behind two other teams in need of help at receiver, they likely won't get top prospect Marvin Harrison Jr. However, Nabers is an elite talent in his own right and would be an excellent "consolation prize" for New York.
No. 5 overall, Los Angeles Chargers (+400)
Like the Giants, the Chargers show up again near the top of current odds to land a different top receiver. Los Angeles likely would have even better odds if not for many draft analysts' shared belief that its new regime might be willing to trade back to allow a quarterback-needy team to move up.
No. 7 overall, Tennessee Titans (+650)
Tennessee doesn't need more help at wide receiver after signing DeAndre Hopkins last year and Calvin Ridley earlier this offseason. However, if the Titans are on the clock and an elite receiving prospect like Nabers is still on the board, there's a chance they take another swing at the position to ensure second-year quarterback Will Levis is set up for success.
2024 NFL Draft odds: Rome Odunze landing spots
Odunze is most likely to hear his name called during one of these picks, according to 2024 NFL Draft odds.
No. 6 overall, New York Giants (+250)
Nothing new here. Analysts and oddsmakers largely expect the Giants to take a wide receiver in the first round. If Harrison and Nabers are both off of the board by the No. 6 overall pick, Odunze would likely remain as the best receiver available.
No. 9 overall, Chicago Bears (+280)
As talented as Odunze is, roster needs of other teams holding top-10 picks could cause a mini slide for the Washington receiver after Harrison and Nabers are off the board. Chicago could end that slide with their second pick of the first round to be sure presumed No. 1 overall pick and quarterback Caleb Williams is inundated with pass-catching talent around him.
No. 7 overall, Tennessee Titans; No. 8 overall, Atlanta Falcons (+650)
Like with their Nabers odds, the Titans could take a swing at more receiving talent on the younger side to pair with their young quarterback. Assuming Harrison and Nabers are off of the board by No. 7, that leaves Odunze as a possibility to land in Nashville.
New Falcons quarterback Kirk Cousins was at his best in Minnesota when surrounded by premier talent at skill positions. Atlanta has a promising, young wide receiver in Drake London, a young tight end with elite potential in Kyle Pitts and an outstanding two-headed backfield of Bijan Robinson and Tyler Allgeier. Should the Falcons decide to draft Odunze, they would be giving Cousins a roster flush with offensive talent to work with.
