For the first time in NBA draft history, the 2024 NBA draft is being spread across two days. This historic event will see 58 talented prospects being selected to join their professional teams. As we head into the second round of the 2024 NBA draft with picks 31-58 set to be made, the anticipation is palpable, with big names still on the board, including Bronny James.

Round 1 of the 2024 NBA draft was a global affair with an international flair. The top two picks hailed from France, with Zaccharie Risacher from Leon to the Atlanta Hawks and Alexandre Sarr from Bordeaux to the Washington Wizards. The third overall pick was Kentucky guard Reed Sheppard, who is now set to join the Houston Rockets.

The burning question on everyone's mind is, where will Bronny James be drafted? Will he follow in his father's footsteps and join LeBron James on the Los Angeles Lakers, or will he be snagged by another team before then? The excitement and anticipation for Bronny James' draft selection are at an all-time high.

2024 NBA draft: Grades and analysis for every round 1 pick

Predictions for Bronny James in 2024 NBA Draft:

New York Times: 55 overall to the Los Angeles Lakers (via Clippers)

Sam Vecenie writes: "The pick everyone has been waiting for. It’s seen as likely by sources who represent opposing teams across the league that the Lakers will select Bronny James in the second round of the 2024 NBA Draft. Now, we just wait and see what happens. James has potential as a defender and shooter, but he struggles to handle the ball at a high enough level to play point guard at 6-foot-1. I have an Exhibit 10 grade on him and don’t see him as draftable, but the odds seem good that he’ll hear his name called. We’ll see if that comes to fruition."

ESPN: 55 overall to the Los Angeles Lakers (via Clippers)

Jonathan Givony and Jeremy Woo write: "James made strides as a senior in high school and had impressive showings in the spring all-star circuit, but he had a difficult time finding his footing at USC, especially as a scorer. His strong feel for the game, length, frame, budding shot-making prowess and competitiveness defensively give him plenty of things to work with in the long term if he can get back on the encouraging track he was on before his cardiac arrest."

Bleacher Report: 55 overall to the Los Angeles Lakers (via Clippers)

Jonathan Wasserman writes: "Rival teams sound uncertain about Bronny James' chances of getting drafted, though the Los Angeles Lakers remain the popular guess as to his most likely destination. If he's still on the board deep into the second round, L.A.'s front office could feel pressure to select him since it's essentially a risk-free pick that late. Passing on him at No. 55 would signal to LeBron how little the team thinks of Bronny. James impressed with his shooting at the NBA combine, while his defensive quickness popped at USC. Though he'd likely spend next year earning G League reps and the South Bay Lakers' extra attention, his shotmaking, foot speed and IQ do create a viable three-and-D archetype and long-term path to NBA success."

CBS Sports: 55 overall to the Los Angeles Lakers (via Clippers)

Kyle Boone writes: "Los Angeles doubles up on the James family and brings in Bronny, LeBron's oldest son, with its second and final pick of the draft."
