There has never been a set number of Heisman Trophy finalists, but it's safe to assume Colorado star Travis Hunter and Boise State running back Ashton Jeanty will be among those making the trip to New York.
The award was presented to a quarterback in seven of the last eight years. Oregon quarterback Dillon Gabriel and Miami quarterback Cam Ward could also be named finalists this year.
