2024 Heisman Trophy: Date, time and how to watch the ceremony

The 2024 Heisman Trophy presentation is less than two weeks away and will feature the top college football players who have demonstrated exceptional skill, leadership and performance on the field.

The 2024 Heisman finalists will be announced for Monday, Dec. 9.

Each year, the Heisman Trophy Trust oversees the distribution of 928 ballots to designated representatives. These representatives cast votes using a three-point system, ranking their top three players who had the most outstanding season in college football.

The Heisman Trophy has been awarded annually since 1935 and honors the college football player of the year.

Last year, Louisiana State quarterback Jayden Daniels was named the 2023 Heisman Trophy winner. Washington quarterback Michael Penix Jr. finished second and Oregon quarterback Bo Nix was third.

The 2024 Heisman Trophy ceremony will be held on Saturday, Dec. 14, in New York City.
