2023-24 Statistics:
Regular Season Record: 23-
42-2-1, 49 Points (6th U.S. Division)
Playoffs: N/A
Key Departures: Lukas Dragicevic (D), Deagen McMillan (F), Alex Serraglio (D)
Key Additions: Terrell Goldsmith (D), Austin Zemlak (D), Ismail Abougouche (D)

Tri-City will be an intriguing team to watch in 2024-25. While they did lose talented players in the offseason, they have built a deep squad that should match up well with the rest of the U.S. Division. There is also a lot of competition amongst the group, which should push players to produce strong performances throughout the campaign.

When looking at the forward group, the name that stands out is 2025 NHL Draft pick Jordan Gavin. After finishing last season with 68 points in 68 games, expect his production to take another step forward as he looks to be the first Americans' player to hit 80 points since 2019. Tri-City also boasts some strong talent, including Jake Sloan, Maxmilian Curran, and Cash Kosh, who are all expected to be crucial parts of the lineup this season.

For the blue line, Tri-City became much tougher with the additions of Terell Goldsmith, Austin Zemlak, and Ismail Abougouche. Like last season, this is a large defence core that could have six players listed at 6'3" or taller. Based on the size and skill of their defenders, do not be surprised if multiple opponents leave Kennewick needing ice packs.

As for the goaltenders, there should be plenty of healthy competition in the crease. Lukas Matecha will be the projected starter once again, while Nathan Preston looks to be the team's backup. There is also a chance that Kyle Kelsey will return for his 20-year-old season, which could lead to some sort of rotation this year.

While it won't be easy, the Americans' have built a roster that should make the playoffs this season. There should be plenty of young players pushing for spots, including Cruz Pavao, who could be in contention for Rookie of the Year. Ultimately, fans in Tri-City should be excited for the upcoming season as this group could surprise this year.
