2023 Wimbledon men's final: Time, TV, streaming for Novak Djokovic vs. Carlos Alcaraz

The matchup every tennis fan wants to see is set for the Wimbledon men's final as top-seeded Carlos Alcaraz takes on Novak Djokovic on Sunday. The winner of the match will also claim the No. 1 ranking, currently held by Alcaraz.

Djokovic summed up the epic match this way: “He's young. He's hungry. I'm hungry, too, so let's have a feast.”

Djokovic, 36, dispatched 21-year-old Jannik Sinner 6-3, 6-4, 7-6 (7-4) to secure his 35th appearance in a Grand Slam major final. He has won the last four Wimbledons and increased his winning streak at the All England Club to 34 matches in a row.

He is also pursuing his eighth Wimbledon singles crown, which would tie Roger Federer for the most among men. Martina Navratilova holds the women's record having won this tournament nine times.

Also with a victory, Djokovic will secure his 24th Grand Slam singles championship, which would tie Margaret Smith Court for the all-time record – men or women – in tennis. Djokovic would then enter the U.S. Open with a chance to achieve the calendar Grand Slam, which no man has accomplished since Rod Laver in 1969.

The top-seed Alcaraz also completed a straight-sets victory in the semifinals, taking apart Daniil Medvedev 6-3, 6-3, 6-3 in less than two hours. At ago 20, he became the fourth-youngest Wimbledon men's finalist in history.

He is also the seventh man in the Open era to reach multiple major finals before the age of 21. He's hoping to add to his Grand Slam haul after he won the U.S. Open last year.
