Ohio couple ties knot with 110 bridesmaids in wedding party

It may have added significantly to the cost of the reception, but that didn't sop an Ohio couple from tying the knot with more more than 110 bridesmaids.

The army of bridesmaids at the Saturday wedding of Jill Stapleton and Chad Greenhill could break the world record, reports WSAZ. The most bridesmaids on record at one wedding is 90, says the Guinness Book of World Records.

Stapleton is the owner of Jill's Tumble World and invited her students to participate in the wedding. They coordinated the wedding party through postings on the gymnastics center's website -- including the wedding colors of purple, teal, lavender, aqua, black, ivory, white and silver.

The Guinness Book of World Records uses an application process to determine a potential record, which typically takes four to six weeks.
