Juventus and Napoli have joined AC Milan in the race for Arsenal’s Jakub Kiwior, but the Gunners are yet to receive a formal offer for the player.

Fabrizio Romano reports in his Daily Briefing that Jakub Kiwior is appreciated by AC Milan, Juventus, and Napoli in Serie A, who have all been tracking him since his time with Spezia.

Romano adds that the interest goes no further than that at the moment, with the Gunners still waiting on an official proposal from any of the three clubs.

Kiwior reportedly also remains a player trusted by Mikel Arteta, so the club aren’t desperate to move him on.

Recent reports claimed Milan had at least made contact with Kiwior’s representatives over a move, but even then, the suggestion was that Arsenal hadn’t decided to sell the defender.

Kiwior wasn’t always a starter for Arsenal in 2023/24, with Gabriel Magalhaes and William Saliba preferred at centre-back, and a lot of competition at left-back.

But the 24-year-old did have one particularly strong run in the team in February and March, with Arsenal going unbeaten in the league during that period and winning their Champions League tie against FC Porto.

Kiwior is also under contract until 2028, so there’s really no pressure on Arsenal to sell.

Despite the lack of formal bids at this stage, we may soon start to see some movement, given Poland’s elimination from Euro 2024. Kiwior is a nailed-on starter for his country and his full focus would have been on the tournament until now.
