2 Former Bruins Named Top Trade Candidates
In his most recent Trade Targets Board for Daily Faceoff, NHL insider Frank Seravalli named two former Boston Bruins among the top trade candidates in the NHL: Frank Vatrano and Dan Vladar.

Vatrano is no stranger to the rumor mill, as he generated plenty of interest last season. He had an All-Star year with the Anaheim Ducks in 2023-24, setting career highs with 37 goals, 23 assists, and 60 points. However, he has been off to a slower start this season, posting two goals and seven points in his first 17 games.
Teams looking for help in their middle six should call Anaheim about Vatrano this season. The East Longmeadow, Massachusetts native provides solid offensive production and physicality (42 hits this season) when playing at his best. Perhaps he is a player the Bruins could even look at again if they find themselves in a playoff spot near the deadline. It is no secret they need help on the wing.
As for Vladar, he is a pending unrestricted free agent (UFA) who could draw interest from playoff clubs looking to improve at the backup position. The 27-year-old has a 3-4-2 record, a .906 save percentage (SV%), and a 2.65 goals-against average (GAA) this season with the Calgary Flames.
The Bruins selected Vladar with the 75th overall pick of the 2015 NHL Entry Draft. In five games with Boston, he had a 2-2-1 record, a .886 SV%, and a 3.40 GAA.
