Due to this, let's discuss two specific Bruins who have the potential to be traded in 2025.
Trent Frederic
Trent Frederic has been the subject of trade rumors for a while now. It is understandable, as he is in the final season of his contract, and losing him for nothing in free agency would sting.

In addition, Frederic has not had a good year, posting five goals, six assists, and a minus-13 rating in 38 games. He also has zero points over his last nine games.
If there is a lot of interest in Frederic, and the Bruins can get a good return for him, it would not be too surprising to see him dealt. In addition, he could be a solid piece for the Bruins to add to a trade package to upgrade their forward group.
Fabian Lysell
If the Bruins want to acquire an impactful player that helps them immediately, Fabian Lysell may be a notable prospect who ends up going the other way.

Lysell, 21, could generate interest from sellers, as he is a former first-round pick with solid upside. He is having a decent season with the Providence Bruins, posting five goals and 17 points in 26 games. He also has seven points over his last six games with the AHL squad.
