The new era of FC Barcelona has already kicked off under Hansi Flick. With the arrival of the German coach come new ideas and elements to be incorporated into the team. As the new Barcelona coach begins to implement his own ways at the club, more developments continue to progress.

From the exhaustive nature of his double training sessions to the incorporation of dental tests in the club’s medical examinations, Flick is beginning a physical revolution at the club already. However, there was still the issue of not too many first team members currently being at his disposal.

To counter that absence of key players, Flick has been relying mainly on youth players from the subsidiary and quarry. From among them, a familiar face from his country of origin continues to impress Hansi Flick, and he is beginning to gain much more prominence.

As highlighted by Mundo Deportivo, 17-year-old German midfielder Noah Darvich is impressing Flick and his technical squad recently. He is reportedly fitting in quite well with Flick’s new training methodologies and has been especially convincing for the coach as a potential new interior for his team.

At the moment, the primary goal of the German midfielder remains to earn the faith of his coaches enough to let him take part in the preseason tour to the United States of America. Last time around, that tour did wonders for Fermin Lopez, who is now a player for the first team and also for his country’s senior team.

Darvich, on the other hand, has the element of familiarity working to his favor as well. Heiko Westermann, one of Flick’s most trusted companions, already knows Darvich quite well from his time working with the lower divisions of the German National team.

Now an Under-17 World Cup winner with Germany, and a solid addition to Rafa Marquez’s Barcelona Atletic, the next step that Darvich hopes to take is towards the first team. However, he will need to show Flick that he is indeed a difference-making player and deserves a chance.
