Rhythmic Gymnastics kicked off at the Paris Olympics this week, reminding everyone that the human body is capable of physics-defying flexibility and hand-eye coordination.
Athletes compete individually and as teams using four different apparatuses: ball, hoop, clubs and rope. And the skills they show off with each are nothing short of breath-taking. But they'll also make every non-athlete watching feel their bones and muscles aching just from witnessing their abilities.
Seriously, it's impossible not to look at these photos below and feel awestruck by the flexibility as every fiber in your body starts to tighten up and burn.
Give all of these gymnasts a gold medal.
