The women's 4x100-meter relay final was run in the rain, and it was ABSOLUTELY MIND-BLOWING.
Oh, baby. I didn't think I could love the rain any more than I did Friday. Rain is usually bad for track and field athletes. All kinds of things can happen, including falls and dropping the baton. But the rain was no match for Team USA.
They easily sailed to a gold medal behind a RIDICULOUS anchor leg from Sha'Carri Richardson. That woman TOOK OFF and only looked back to make sure that she was still far enough in front of her competition. It was INCREDIBLE.
