1 person wounded in McClatchy Park shooting in Sacramento’s Oak Park neighborhood, police say

One person is expected to survive after being shot at McClatchy Park on Friday afternoon.

Sacramento Police Department officers responded to reports of a shooting about 4 p.m. on the 3500 block of 5th Avenue in the Oak Park neighborhood. Upon arrival, authorities said they located one victim with at least one gunshot wound not considered life-threatening.

The victim was transported to a hospital.

No suspect was identified as detectives investigated the incident.
