1-0: Modrić qualifies for EURO with Croatia

Modrić captained Croatia to victory over Armenia to clinch their place at the 2024 European Championships as second in Group D. The Real Madrid midfielder, who will be at the European tournament for the fifth time in his career, was named in the starting XI for the clash at the Maksimir Stadium in Zagreb, which was won by Budimir's header 42 minutes in.

Shortly after, Modrić's volley could have doubled the lead, but he was kept out by the opposition goalkeeper. The madridista was involved in much of his side's good work in the second half as well, but the scores remained the same.
