Player Notes
Carl Crawford homered and doubled in a winning cause Friday against the Padres.

Advice: Crawford has come under a little early fire, in part because Alex Guerrero needs more playing time and could be an alternative in left field. Crawford, though, likely remains the team's best option there against righties. He was off to an ugly start going into this one, though, with a .216 average and just one RBI in 37 at-bats.

Carl Crawford (illness) went hitless in two at-bats Tuesday in his return to the lineup.

Advice: Crawford had been under the weather for a few days. He's struggled so far this season (.242/.265/.303) but will continue to start regularly in left field against right-handers.

Carl Crawford (illness) might not be available off the bench Sunday.

Advice: In fact, he might not come to the ballpark at all. Crawford is under the weather and was given IV fluids on Saturday. The Dodgers are off Monday, so they seem likely to just tell the outfielder to get some extra rest before joining them for their road trip beginning Tuesday.

Carl Crawford is out of the Dodgers' starting lineup on Saturday due to an illness.

Advice: Andre Ethier will take over in left field. Crawford's fantasy contributions have been minimal this season (.258, 0 HR, 1 RBI, 0 SB) so it's not the end of the world. He could be back for the series finale Sunday.

Carl Crawford (ankle) returned to the Dodgers lineup on Friday, going 1-for-5 in a victory over the Rockies.

Advice: Crawford sat out Wednesday's contest after jamming his ankle on Tuesday, but the injury appears to have been very minor. The veteran outfielder is off to a bit of a slow start in 2015, slashing .258/.281/.323 with one RBI and zero stolen bases in his first nine games.
