Player Notes
Freddie Freeman hit a pair of doubles in Sunday's loss to the Phillies.

Advice: Freeman finished the contest 2-for-4 with the two doubles and a run scored. He's now hit five doubles on the season. In every area but average, Freeman's been producing in the early going, as he has four home runs, eight RBI and 11 runs scored to go with a .235/.307/.485 batting line. Given that he hit .288 last season and .319 in 2013, that average isn't likely to stay low for long.

Freddie Freeman homered for the second consecutive game in a losing effort against the Blue Jays on Saturday.

Advice: Freeman entered with terrific lifetime numbers against knuckleballer R.A. Dickey and delivered a two-run bomb off the veteran right-hander in the third inning. Freeman finished the day 2-for-4 and is now hitting .256/.319/.581 with four long balls and eight RBI on the season.

Freddie Freeman's two-run homer in the eighth inning on Friday powered the Braves to an 8-7 victory over the visiting Blue Jays.

Advice: At the time, Freeman's blast off southpaw Brett Cecil increased the Braves advantage to 8-5, but after a late rally by the opposition it would prove to be the difference in the ballgame. Freeman finished the night 1-for-4 and is now hitting .231/.286/.513 with three bombs and six RBI on the season.
