With their playoff hopes potentially on the line, the New York Jets benched Zach Wilson. Tim Boyle got the start in Week 12 against the Miami Dolphins.

The result was an offensive nightmare on Black Friday, with the Dolphins notching a 34-13 win.

The game looked like it would be ugly, and it met that expectation early. Miami's offense leads the league in scoring and the Jets' offense ranks 30th in points per game. But the Jets' defense gave them a fighting chance when Brandin Echols picked off a pass from Tua Tagavailoa in the second quarter and put New York on the board.

That momentum didn't last long. With no time remaining in the half, the Dolphins answered with a demoralizing 99-yard touchdown. Safety Jevon Holland intercepted Boyle's Hail Mary attempt and ran it all the way to the house.

The second half wasn't much better for the Jets, who at least got an offensive touchdown, but otherwise writhed their way to a fourth straight loss.
