What really inspired Antonio Brown’s eye-catching haircut

Most of the storylines going into last week’s NFL season opener between the Pittsburgh Steelers and New England Patriots centered around football.

Would Tom Brady dominate in his return after avoiding suspension?

How much would the Steelers miss Le’Veon Bell and Martavis Bryant?

But the biggest question of the night became:

What is up with Antonio Brown’s hair?

The wide receiver - who spoke to Yahoo Sports while promoting Grabs for Glukos - explained what inspired his new ‘do:

“It definitely was the Leggo, meaning let’s go. It was a little bit of Tetris, but it was originally Nino Brown, (from) New Jack City.

Gotta love the old school look from Antonio – but he quickly changed it to his more standard “GoHawk”:

Brown said, “it’s kind of like the Red Sea, just trying to part the middle.”

Just like what he does to defenses all around the NFL.
