DTotD: Manager tries to trip opposing player, gets ordered to stand behind a fence

The manager of Italian lower division club Rivazzurra overestimated his levels of sneakiness during a match against Corpolo on Sunday. As Corpolo player Daniele Pompili attempted to mount a counterattack, the Rivazzurra manager stuck out his foot to try and trip him up. Pompili went down and the manager casually strolled back to his seat on the bench and by the time he sat down, he was surrounded by angry players.

Once the referee calmed down the Corpolo players a bit, he escorted the manager to a door in the fence behind the dugouts and had the manager stand behind it, making it look like the manager was locked up in some kind of weird outdoor prison. From his position behind the fence, the manager was still close enough to instruct his team, but he could no longer make lazy attempts to trip anyone.

This has been the Dirty Tackle of the Day: a chronicling of unfortunate events.
