When a Premier League team wants to launch a new kit, they simply get an international rock star to stand next to Vincent Kompany. Not so in Germany. To celebrate their new relationship with PUMA, reigning Bundesliga champs Borussia Dortmund staged a fashion show, featuring a catwalk full of extremely attractive ladies wearing garments that are completely unsuitable for sporting activity.

The outfits were put on display at Berlin Fashion Week, as part of a collaboration between PUMA and German designer Guido Maria Kretschmer.

If you are interested in actually seeing what the new kit looks like, German retailer Karstadt Sports have released a series of posters featuring the jersey-modelling talents of Lisa Rossenbach. She's the better half of Die Burussen keeper Roman Weidenfeller, and if Google Images searches are to be believed, she spends an inordinate amount of time at the beach.

Both posters openly bait rival clubs: the one above cheekily tells Bayern Munich that Borussia Dortmund have already won the championship (merely by having a blonde lady sit on a yoga ball), while the one below tells arch nemesis Schalke that they can look, but not touch...
