1860 Munich wore their Oktoberfest lederhosen kit and it looked fantastic
Oktoberfest has begun and to mark the occasion, 1860 Munich wore a lederhosen inspired kit for their Bavarian derby with Ingolstadt in the 2. Bundesliga. Though the match ended in a 1-1 draw, 1860 won the day with their special kit.

Last season Bayern Munich wore a lederhosen inspired away kit that might have inspired the club with which they share the Allianz Arena. But 1860 put their own twist on the concept with the blue and white checked shirt and detailing on the shorts. The fans also displayed a lederhosen tifo before the match.
The kit was modeled after what the team wears for their Oktoberfest celebrations each year. It translates so well that they should probably consider making this kit design a new tradition. Because the thing about Oktoberfest kits is that they'll always look good after drinking the right amount of beer (a.k.a. all the beer).
