Dislocated shoulder sidelines Kings’ Chuck Hayes

Kings forward Chuck Hayes, who goes by the nickname "Chuck Wagon," got tipped over Thursday by the Milwaukee Bucks' Drew Gooden and left the game with a dislocated shoulder, according to the Sacramento Bee.

On Wednesday night, Hayes had gone down after taking a charge from the Denver Nuggets' Chris Andersen, who is otherwise known as the Birdman. "That's in my Top 5 all time for charges," Hayes said Thursday, according to the Bee. "The one from Birdman was more painful than any charge I've taken. I saw him coming down the lane for a dunk, a big man coming full speed, and I knew it'd hurt."

Hayes, of course, was the guy who signed a four-year, $21.3 million contract with the Kings this offseason and then had it voided when the team found what it called a heart abnormality. After he was cleared by the folks at the Cleveland Clinic, the Kings re-signed Hayes to the same deal.

He has averaged 5.6 points, 7.8 rebounds and 1.5 assists per game this season.
