Fourth-Place Medal

Now that the Olympians will be moving out of the Olympic Village, the London organizing committee is selling everything out of the place. You can own everything from hangers to bedroom sets used by "the most famous sporting personalities in the world."

While most of items are only needed if you're building a dorm -- Hogwarts? -- there are a few items you just may want to add to your home.

OK, so the traffic wand probably wasn't used by Michael Phelps, but you can use it to direct traffic at your next holiday party. The unusual lamp is so unusual that I've seen it for sale in every big box store in the U.S. The truly unusual lamps that you can't find at Wal-Mart are the bowler hats. Add in a world map coffee table and a banquette, and you have your own little Olympic lounge.

The only problem for Americans is that most items need to be picked up. But for those bowler lamps? It's worth a trip across the pond.
