It’s that time of year. The smell in the air isn’t that of playoff hockey, but of food crafted in the shape of the Stanley Cup.

With the NHL’s playoffs under way, there’s no better way to celebrate than with a Stanley Cup made from sweet, juicy, delicious poutine.

Josh Elkin, host of the Cooking Channel's Sugar Showdown, teamed up with Smoke’s Poutinerie, which has locations in Canada and the U.S., including Amalie Arena in Tampa and Gila River Arena in Glendale, Arizona., and created a poutine Stanley Cup.

Behold!

Wipe that drool off your chin.

That delicious Cup made from fried potatoes stuffed with cheese curds and gravy took Elkin four hours to create and definitely would be better than any meal you'll have this postseason.

We’re hoping that restaurants creating Stanley Cups out of food becomes a postseason tradition on a level with playoff beards. Please recall last year when Montreal’s Bar Brutus debuted the Bacon Stanley Cup, which we still haven’t stopped thinking about.

Sadly, the Poutine Stanley Cup is not available for purchase. We'll just have to continue to wonder what this culinary masterpiece tastes like.
