• Injured New Jersey Devils forward Patrik Elias hasn’t given up on returning this season. The 39-year-old Elias had knee surgery on Jan. 12 to repair a torn meniscus and clean out loose cartilage. He also plans to go to Martin Brodeur’s Devils jersey retirement ceremony Tuesday [Fire and Ice].
