San Jose Sharks create Metallica jerseys, give them to band (Photo)

When the San Jose Sharks play, nothing else matters, wherever they may roam. It’s sad but true.

Occasionally, they’ll load and reload and take some time to honor the hero of the day. Those heroes on Wednesday night: Rock gods METALLICA!

The Sharks honored the band, rather appropriately, on Metallica Night at the SAP Center. They received these sweet sweaters, with a Metallica-ized Sharks logo. They also signed another set of them to be auctioned off to benefit the Sharks Foundation.

A truly special moment for the Sharks and their fans, who admittedly must have the frayed ends of sanity at this point watching this team. They’re trying to turn the page, but the memory remains.
