Five things to know about tonight's NHL games ...

1. Neau Bennett. The Penguins will be without Tanner Glass and Beau Bennett against the Bruins, with the latter player's injury sounding rather ominous via Dan Bylsma.

2. Hanzal OK. Martin Hanzal, the Coyotes' leading scorer, is expected back for Phoenix as they face the Predators. He was injured in their game against the Ducks on Saturday.

3. John Davidson has perspective. The Blue Jackets president recently assessed his team's tough sledding this season, but took the long view: "If we find something, we’ll do it. But we’re not just going to stick a finger in the dike.”

4. Bozak Back. After missing 12 games with a hammy, Bozak is back on the Leafs' top line because he's best friends with Phil Kessel.

5. Scrivs on Reims. Does Los Angeles Kings goalie Ben Scrivens pay attention to how former Leafs creasemate James Reimer is faring? Yep: "I try not to play head games with myself, but obviously I’ve paid attention to Reims. He is a good buddy. I’m really happy for him that he is doing well. He’s putting up good numbers. I sent him a text the other day saying ’50 shots, how am I going to compete with that?’ He had a great one against the Caps and I’m really happy for him."

Bold Prediction: Timmy Thomas stops the Flyers' momentum, yielding one goal in a Panthers' win.
