Ray Bourque and current Bruins team president Cam Neely headline the Boston roster. This includes Hal Gill – who also played for Montreal – and Mark Recchi, another former Hab. Terry O’Reilly and team general manager Don Sweeney are also part of the group.

The Boston coaching staff includes Don Cherry, Mike Milbury, Derek Sanderson, Lyndon Byers, Stan Jonathan, Don Marcotte and Tom McVie. Johnny Bucyk and Eddie Sandford are the team’s “honorary” coaches.

The Habs will be coached by Guy Lafleur, Jacques Demers, Yvan Cournoyer, Simon Arsenault, Rejean Houle and Stephane Gauthier.

The event will take place at 3:30 p.m. Foxborough (eastern) time on New Years Eve, and will consist of three 20 minute running time periods.

Last season there was no alumni game between the Washington Capitals and Chicago Blackhawks.
