Mikhail Grabovski nominates Dave Nonis, Randy Carlyle in Ice Bucket Challenge (Video)

Is it possible to win the Ice Bucket Challenge? It's not really a competition, of course. The point of the challenge, which hit hockey hard this week, either because these guys have nothing to do since it's August or because they're all really hot since it's August, is to raise awareness and money to fight ALS. You dump a bucket of ice on your head; you challenge a couple friends to do the same. Tough to win that kind of challenge, especially when everybody's doing the same thing (although Marc-Andre Fleury doing it in a banana costume for some reason was a nice change of pace).

That said, I'd argue Mikhail Grabovski and Nikolai Kulemin won it on Sunday. Nevermind that we said this guy won it on Friday. We've changed our minds. Rather than nominate two friends, you see, Grabovski and Kulemin nominated two foes, in Toronto Maple Leafs coach Randy Carlyle and GM Dave Nonis:

The second-best thing about this video: Grabovski was wearing a helmet underwater.

Wait, you can nominate people you don't like, so they either have to dump ice water on their heads, donate to an ALS charity, or look like the total idiots you think they are? Grabovski done changed the game, yo.

Idiot isn't my word, of course. It's the term Grabovski chose for describing his one-time coach after being bought out by Carlyle's Leafs last summer.

"Yeah, I don't score goals," he told TSN's Jonas Siegel. "I need to work more about that. I know that. But if you feel support from your coach [you'll find success]. I don't feel any support from this [expletive] idiot."

And now, after Carlyle was integral in Grabovski getting dumped, Grabovski would like to return the favour. He's probably not the only player that would like to see Randy Carlyle dump a bucket of ice on his head.
