Kari Lehtonen takes seat on top of the goal in Stars’ blowout of Flames

Kari Lehtonen is on fire for the Dallas Stars, going 7-2-2 in his last 11 (straight) starts. But his real talent, of course, is trolling opponents. Please recall Lehtonen going “SCOREBOARD” in a game against the Detroit Red Wings, pointing to the Dallas Stars’ lead on the Jumbotron with his water bottle.

Now, sitting on top of your net with seconds remaining in a blowout – as he did in the Dallas Stars’ win over the Calgary Flames on Thursday night – might seem like more quality trolling from Lehtonen ... but it’s just sort of what he does.

Even back during his days with the Atlanta Thrashers:

How does he get up there? A little hop:

Outside of his Kill Bill mask, this is the coolest Kari Lehtonen thing. And a great idea, too, as it’s much harder for him to sprain his groin for the 10,000th time when he’s seated above the ice.
