James Neal embellishes, Tim Peel drops F-bombs about it (Video)

James Neal is one of the NHL’s most accomplished embellishers, having been fined by the League in 2014 and having been called “everything that’s wrong with the NHL” by former referee Paul Stewart.

On Monday night, the Nashville Predators forward was at it again, but our favorite referee of all-time ever Tim Peel wasn’t having it. The following video is NFSW DUE TO LANGUAGE:

DOUBLE. EFF. BOMB.

In a delightfully refreshing move by Peel, Neal was the only one given a penalty on the play after Boston Bruins goalie Jonas Gustavsson’s stick errantly was raised within five feet of Neal’s head.

As you can see, the Bruins made quick work on the power play, as Loui Eriksson scored at 10:53 of the second period. The Predators would go on to win, 3-2, thanks to a Viktor Arvidsson goal in the third-period.

Here’s a better look at the Neal embellishment, which went on for seemingly another five seconds after Gustavsson played the puck.

Let’s hear it for Tim Peel! James Neal certainly did.
