High schooler completes hat trick with stunning Ovechkin-like goal (Video)

On their way to the Section 1 Wisconsin state hockey final this Saturday night, the New Richmond Tigers had to get by the WSFLG Blizzard in the second round. They did, with a 6-3 victory, but the highlight of that game would come from Blizzard forward Alex Hopkins, who channeled his inner Alex Ovechkin for a spectacular goal.

The goal came with 1:28 left in the game to complete a hat trick for Hopkins. Making the memorable goal all the more, well, memorable, was that it was Hopkins' final game of his high school career.

Nothing like going out on top and going viral.
