Flyers were cursed by a witch, according to incredibly logical fan video
There have been plenty of attempts to explain what's been wrong with the Philadelphia Flyers the past couple of years. Poor goaltending. A porous defense. Coaching.
But now, just in time for Halloween, we have a new explanation: the curse of a sinister witch, who made Claude Giroux's EA cover curse twice as powerful.
Makes sense.
Sure, it may seem strange, but how else to explain how Sergei Bobrovsky became a Vezina goaltender the moment he got out of Philly? The Flyers are cursed, that's how.
All the evidence one needs -- as well as the cure -- is compiled in this incredible, absurd fan video:
It's an open and shut case. That's a curse.
Fortunately, the cure for the curse visits the Flyers tonight: the Pittsburgh Penguins. The Flyers may have spent much of last year in a stupor, and most of this year at that, but they always get up for their cross-state rivals. If anything is going to shake Philadelphia out of their witch-induced funk, it's Sidney Crosby and the boys, against whom the Flyers are often at their best.
Can they help the Flyers rid themselves of this great evil?
